Wanting to avoid a traditional guestbook because I feel like most people just sign their names and I know I'd never look at it...I came up with this alternative "guestbook".
I designed a bunch of cute cards in our colors with space for guests to write us notes and a sign to tell them what to do. Then I also created some moss topiaries that I'm going to string gold rope between and provide clips for guests to clip them to. I think it'll add some interest to it.
Sign & Cards - just made cute shapes and printed and cut:
Topiaries:
I got a couple of topiary forms from Hobby Lobby for $12 each (and 50% off!)
I also picked up some moss sheeting.
Then I just cut the sheeting down and hotglued to the form. It was really easy since the moss had a backing on it to keep it together.
I had to cut off some odd pieces here and there and add some to fill in holes but it's not noticable.
TADA! Finished topiary! It makes a huge mess so make sure to do it someplace that's easy to clean up!
Finished product - also going to add some ribbons to the planters (obviously I'll spread them further apart and tie the string better for the wedding but I wanted to be able to take it apart to pack)

posted by KimberlyJ 1 year agoI found the frame at TJMaxx. They had a bunch and I wish I would have grabbed more because they would have been cute for table signage.
