I got the idea of creating this western themed invitation after browsing the internet for hours trying to find just the right invitation for Mr. Farmer and I. After discussing the idea with my printing company, they tried to persuade me to go with a "seal-n-send" style invitation since they were super simple and helped to save costs without an envelope. I had my own inspirational ideas in mind and after months of tweaking, editing, and printing errors, I finally had my western invitations!
The cover: Features a belt buckle sticker I designed and printed off my own inkjet printer onto glossy avery labels to help cut on costs. The leather and stictching were all digital.
Inside 1: This is what the invites look like when you first open them. The actual "invitation" was printed on the right while the flap that folded over the center contained the return address for the back of the RSVP card and directions (see next image).
Inside 2: This is what the invitation looks like when open in full. Mr. Farmer wanted engagement pictures incorporated into the wedding invites, so he was able to get his wish. The left hand panel with the RSVP and Directions had perforated edges to allow for easy tear off & send.
Ultimately these were a lot of fun to create and I had the opportunity to learn a great deal about the printing process. Many of the guests have already complimented on the unique design and how well it suits Mr. Farmer and I. :)
Those are super cute! My FI and I were having such a hard time as well find a "country themed" invitation that just didnt look cheesy. Those are awesome invitations! We also created our own too! Those are beautiful!
Hi! I Love these!! Would you be willing to share your template? I have been looking and I have not been able to find anything that we both like. I really like your sticker to seal the invites! Very good job and well done!!!!!!
I LOVE these! Could you send me a template??? Although we're not having a country western theme, just the layout of these is perfection! If you have the template yet, my email is jenbob_555@hotmail.com
