Sooooo... I LOVED AmandaOpp's button favors that she posted months ago! And then I discovered vendors on Etsy that sold handmade cupcake picks. THUS I was inspired to combine the two ideas and make my own picks for my red velvet wedding cupcakes!
I created various looks in Illustrator in 1" circle designs and printed them out on white card stock. I punched them out with a 1" craft punch from Michaels.
Then I printed out solid sheets of green and black on white card stock and bought a 1.25" flower-shaped craft punch and punched them out.
A box of flat toothpicks cost 79¢ at the grocery store. I thought about painting them black but no one is going to even see them. And I don't think it would be worth the trouble.
With some Tacky Glue they were SO easy to put together! I made about 50 of them last night. 300 more to go! LOL I love how they are turning out!
these are great!! could I have the template as well!! I would love to do these for my bridal shower cupcakes in my colors!! prettigirl4623@gmail.com and also... did you print the green color + black all on one sheet or did u use different color cardstock & glue them all together?
