I'm currently working on hundreds of crepe paper roses to use in centerpieces for the reception. They take tons of time and patience, but they are so pretty. I am spraying the edges with glue and dipping them in Martha Stewart white glitter to add that little extra sparkle.
Thanks!! I'll be sure to take pictures of the steps in the next day or so when I work on them some more and I'll come back and post pictures with detailed instructions!! =)
stunning!! i've made a few out of coffee filters but sadly it is so time consuming for a busy college student like me. however... if you're willing to sell 'em after the big day...you know where to find me ;)
Thank you!! I have though about selling them after the wedding! My wedding isn't for another 14 months though. I just started these because I have to make a few hundred and each flower takes almost 30-45 mins.
I love these and would love to make them for my wedding! I dont see the instructions... will you be providing soon? If you'd like to email them instead that works as well. My email is mmasell28@gmail.com Thanks!!!
I haven't been able to sit down and work on them again, but as soon as I do I will be taking pictures of the process and posting them. I'm so sorry, things have just been hectic. mmasell.. I'll post them and e-mail them to you as well! Thanks!
i'll be getting married a bit before you. but props on the flowers. they will definitely be a big hit! i've made a few but so time consuming with school it's a bit impossible. on and congratulations on your engagement/wedding - you're getting married on my 8 year anniversary!!! :)
thanks raevnn!! I really hope they are a big hit.. they really are super time consuming. I try to do some when I have free time to just sit and watch tv (which isn't much right now and probably why I don't have many done!) Aww.. yay for your 8 year anniversary!! That's awesome! Congrats!
You can find the full instructions and a video on the Martha Stewart wedding website enter the search for paper flowers. You can also download the template for the petals and leaves. I have made hundreds of dahilas for my upcoming fall wedding in attion to roses.
