I used mainly foamcore boards from the dollar store at 1.25$ each and i took at compass and drew out 3 circles, the largest one for the bottom tier, a medium for the middle tier and the small one for the top tier, all kinda estimated. Then I took a very sharp exacto knife and cut out the ciircles and then just cleaned up the edges so it looks like a perfect circle for the column holding up the tiers i just rolled white bristol board into columns and to an estimated height and glued it to the teirs and wrapped patterned paper that I got from Michaels around it to give it definition. For the trim i cut strips of white paper and cut them with the Martha Stewart designed trim thing and taped a bunch of them together then glued them along the edges of each tier then took ribbon and lined it. It sounds like a lot of work but saved me a lot of money! :)
I made this out of foamcore and paper, everything was custom cut by measuring pieces etc
