posted by sugarr2518 11 months agoI'm not exactly well versed in carpentry lingo but from what I gather he's just going to cut the thought bubbles out of ply wood using one of his fancy saw thingamajigs and then cover them with chalk board finish. According to FFIL it's a "piece of cake". Maybe for him! I'd probably lose a couple fingers! We won't have these done for a few months but I'll definitely post a DIY when they're complete.

posted by sugarr2518 11 months agoThe stuff we're using is kinda like spray paint but I believe they sell actual paint as well. Craft stores carry it.

If you want to make the signs that you can write on simple and easy..
You can use the same idea with the talk bubble created on word and print on cardstock... just laminate it and use dry erase markers!
