I wanted to share my homemade post cards guest will be signing instead of a guestbook. They are super cute and really easy to customize and do yourself. My fiance made all 150 of them in one night. He designed them using publisher on the computer and I picked out the back designs using a cardstock bridal book from Michael's. We are going to have them out on tables during cocktail hour in cute fall inspired boxes accompanied by pretty pens in mason jars. There will be a decorated mailbox for guest to drop them in, and we will make a scrapbook out of them after the wedding.
We must have at least 20 different designs...here are three of my favorites!
The line down the middle is a beautiful love quote!
OMG this is absolutely awesome! I love it! You guys did an amazing job! Are those real postage stamps or a rubber stamp? Any chance you're willing to share the template for the back of the postcard? THANKS! jenniferadam1015@gmail.com
That is exactly what I am doing for my guestbook! I never thought of making my own postcards, I have just been slowly collecting them. If you are sharing the templates I would love them. Lmcrande@svsu.edu Thanks!
Hello Everyone...Sorry it took me so long to reply..I did not realize there were comments...
We bought our favorite cardstock at Michael's craft store and just cut it to the size we wanted...This is where the colorful designs came from...some even have felt!!! (and like I said..super easy) I think we paid 10 dollars for the cardstock book and got 150 postcards...
FI found stamps in google images and just copy and pasted...
He printed right from our computer using publisher.
I LOVE these! I had planned to do something else until I saw your idea and fell in love with it. Is it possible to get the template from you so my sister can help me make something similar? pulsejunkie@hotmail.com. Thank you!!
