We wanted to create programs like the Martha Stewart hang tag programs, however when we saw how pricey the tags themselves were we decided to try another route...this is what we came up with. The simple two page program was attached to the dark brown card stock and held closed by the belly band which also contained a handsigned thank you message from the bride & groom on the back. To create the ability to hang each one from a chair we used an eyelet and a piece of ribbon.
We used left over paper from the menus and table numbers so the only cost was to buy the ribbon, the eyelets, and the green tea paper for the belly bands. I'd say well under $25.00 in total for 100 programs.
If you have to buy paper, I'd guess maybe $50.00 total.
Hope this gives you a better idea of cost. Let me know if you have any other questions.
The belly band (and all the other paper components) are card stock. The belly band were printed horizontally on a 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock. We got 4 on a page this way since we made each of them 2.5" wide to allow for room to trim them on each side.
