These pocket programs were 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 when folded. Perfect for sticking into a small purse or a suit jacket pocket! They opened up accordion style and had four panels inside. The stickers on the front were made by Martha and were able to be run through an ink jet printer. Stickers that can go through an ink jet are probably my favorite office item in the world!
@ MissBrenton: Thanks! Here is a pic of the inside, with names blocked out. I cut the paper for the inside to be a half inch shorter and narrower than the outside. I rubber cemented the inside and outside peices together.
@ tiffinapit: Thanks! It was not a whole lot more work this way, it was actually a little easier, because I had to limit the amount of things I put into the program, so I wasn't worried about what to fill empty space with. Also, it was a lot eaiser printing on one side of the paper than having to print it like a booklet, like in some other programs.
@ missfireslayer: Here is a template, not sure if it's what you are looking for. Let me kow if it was easy to manipulate. Also, I used 12 x 12 white cardstock and used my paper cutter to cut it into 12 x 3 inch strips. I ran the 3" strips through the printer (using the template above). Then again using my paper cutter, I used a scoring blade and scored the paper every 3 inches. I then used an edge rounder to round the edges on the white cardstock. If you do not have an edge rounder, invest in the Fiskars one, I bought two others (that did not work all that well) before I got the Fiskars one. The green paper was cut into 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 squares and then the edges were rounded as well.
@ misschristinec@hotmail.com: The cardstock came from Michaels, I have not looked in their paper section in months, so I don't know if they still have it. When I got it the paper was available in 12 x 12 and 8.5 x 11.
I dont see the template either. I have been trying to figure out if I should have a program and I think this is such a good idea because it can be slipped into a purse or If you could reload the template I would so appreciate it. Thanks for such a good idea.
