Flip Flop Baskets

Flip Flop Baskets : wedding reception flip flops guests brown navy ivory diy DSC00397

I love how my flip flop baskets turned out!

I found these two navy baskets at Home Goods.  They were orignally for children's books, but I de-tached the label and applied my own signs to them.  They had natural dividers in them that came in handy for dividing up the sizes.  Thank you to a fellow bee for the super cute phrasing for the baskets.  I used blue satin ribbon from Michael's to tie the sides to kee them upright during the reception.  The closing lids are perfect for transport.

I'm anticipating 225 guests and thus purchased 50 pairs of flip flops in white and brown.  I was able to buy these for $1 during Old Navy's sale in May.

I hope my guests enjoy these!

Very nice! I just purchased 26 pairs of purple from old navy for 76 cents a piece! need to go back for more though, I have around the same numbers of guests as you. How did you come up with 50 pairs for the total you wanted?

Thanks!  I just kind of made an educated guest.  I knew I wasn't going to supply them for everyone, and I thought 50 was a good ballpark for the amount of women that are coming that would actually wear them.  Old Navy's sale is awesome right now!  Great job!
