These are the groomsmen mugs i made for our bridal table.. since they'll all be drinkin beer anyhow, and would look kinda funny with dainty old champagne glasses filled with beer..
i used my cricut, i bought the glasses at walmart for like $1.98 a piece... and I bought the $9 cricut vinyl from walmart, and a local craft store here sells armour etch it was 10 dollars for 3 ounces, and i know that 3 ounces doesn't sound like much but believe me it is! i etched these 5 glasses, and i did 18 for a friend of mine's wedding and i still have half a bottle left.. anyways, i cut out the letters at 1 inch, then i took out the negative part, which would be the letters so it made a stencil, and put the vinyl onto the glass, i brushed on the armour etch, and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, and then washed it off and peeled off the vinyl.. it was super easy, and SUPER cheap. i wanted to buy these from like exclusiveweddings or davids bridal but these same glasses were $21 a piece! and i made all 5 of them for about that price!
These look great! Did you use the George and Basic Shapes Cartridge for the lettering? I also have a Cricut and will definitely add this to my list of DIY projects! Thanks for sharing!
