A big hello to everyone reading here at weddingbee. Im Marcph and this will be my first ever post: A DIY post. So this will be my little contribution since I've been reading you posts for about a year. So now, I'll show you how to make an illuminated table numbers just like the picture below.
They are really beuatiful, but it would be a bit more helpful if you can give some detail about how you did it. What was the white cardstock for vs the vellum? Info like that would be great.
This is just my take on it, but I think this might be how she finished it up... or at least it's how I'd finish it up lol xD
-Make design in Photoshop and then print it onto white cardstock
-Cut cardstock to size, dimensions shown in pictures
-Fold the back piece (picture 1)
-For the front piece, use an Xacto knife to cut out the letters--or whatever you'd like the light shining through--and then attach a piece of vellum paper (picture 2)
-Attach the completed front piece to the back piece using double-sided tape
-Place a candle inside the box
These are GORGEOUS, and I totally want to make these for my wedding!!! Awesome idea :D
I am so making these for my wedding with my new cricut expression! I saw a project like this done with it and some other stuff too, great idea! by the way yours are lovely!
