Thanks to the help of a fellow bee, I got the idea to do matchbook favors. I wanted to personalize them so I found clip art online and put our names. I finally got the dimensions to work out. What do you think? I'm going to put them at everyones place setting at the reception.
I designed the template in Excel. There are two different tabs. One if you want to print them on 8.5 x 11 and the other 4.5 x 6.5. I had some leftover card stock on 4.5 x 6.5 so I used that option.
Each mint paper is 5.5 inches x 2. Print & cut each out. I had a paper cutter to make it easier.
Thanks so much for the template! I bought a trimmer with a free scoring blade for $6.99 at Hobby Lobby. I didn't know what else I would use a scoring board for and I figured if I could spend less and get both tools in one why not. I am doing mine on colored card stock to match our wedding colors and I changed the font. I love love love this idea. I have given you lots of credit when I showed a few family members. Thanks again for an easy idea for favors! I was about to throw in the towel on even having favors, but this is so cost effective! I even made a few tonight!

I bought a scoreboard from Michaels for the creases. It was $19.99 but I used a 40% off coupon. http://www.michaels.com/Martha-Stewart-Crafts%E2%84%A2-Scoreboard/ms0490,default,pd.html?cgid=products-scrapbooking-marthastewartcrafts-tools&start=2 It worked amazing.
Place the paper horizontally on scoreboard face down ("Mint" for each other on the right). Score at 2.25, 2.75, & 5.
Fold & place Lifesaver mint inside and secure with a staple.
Hope this helps!
I created the template in excel so if anyone wants it, just email me. I can't figure out how to attach that.
