There is an amazing amount of candy on line. I bought a bunch from candy warehouse and I bought the chocolate covered pumpkin seeds directly from the company since I wanted specific colors. I also checked out the bulk candy in our grocery store and the candy store at the outlet mall. I found that people really went for the unusual candy. Stuff that you don't see all the time. We had very little of most candy left, but the M&Ms didn't seem to go.
I had 18 - 20 different candies to choose from. I started checking out candy on line and in stores at least a year before the wedding. Since our wedding was in July, I ordered chocolate varieties from websites during the winter. Some places charge extra to ship "meltable" candy during the warmer months. I didn't have any melted or damaged candy from shipping.
