I had my monogram designed by a fellow bee (gocubbies) who is absolutely amazing and has done my invites, RSVPs, a thank you label and will soon be working on rehearsal dinner invites.
Anyway, here it is so far, I'm so proud of myself lol
I know it's not much lol. My fiance did the date and I've done the start of our monogram. It's K H J btw I know you can't really see the tracing lol
i'm confused.... you are tracing correct - I thought the 'blueprint' is under the actual runner - but I dont' see that in your picture. Please educate me because I want to do this so badly!
The lady that created our monogram (gocubbies) enlarged it to 36" x 36", we took the pdf file to kinkos and they printed it on one sheet of paper like the size of a poster or something.
@weddingforcindy: We placed that paper underneath the aisle runner and traced, then removed it when we started painting.
You did an awesome job on this. This is actually what I was thinking of doing, too. Thanks for the explanation of how you did it; that helps me a lot! =)
I dunno if yall can see it in the picture, but above the H on the left hand side I dropped the brush (oops). I used carpet cleaner (lol) but I couldn't get it all the way out. Any suggestions on how to cover it up??
