I am having a destination wedding. When will will get back from our wedding in Punta Cana, We will be hosting a reception at home. This is our Cardbox. I used a suitecase to reprensent our destination wedding without going to cheese with shells and all. I was going for a vintage feel. I think i kept the feel I was going for with the old suitecase, the brooch, pearls and the chandelier around.

I love it! I love that you used pearls to string along your "carte" sign. I also love those vintage style chandeliers.
I was wondering if you plan on having someone nearby to watch your card box since anyone could just run on by and remove your cards.... not that your guests or family may steal from you, but you don't want to leave such temptation.
I love this idea. I actually had a similair idea in mind (I have a french themed reception) but use a vintage suitcase as a favor holder. I'm having a tricky time finding a suitcase though. Where did you find your suitcase at?
