Oh Sara, I love this soooo much! You are very talented, I sadly do not have a cricut , I can see how one would help with wedding DIY! If you are thinking of selling these after your wedding let me know. Will you suspend them from the ceiling at your venue?
I'm planning on suspending 12 and trying to figure out how to make a huge one to hang above the dance floor. I'll hadn't thought about it, but I could definately sell them after the wedding.
* the picture doesn't show it well....but it holds a battery operated tea light in the center.
I agree with KatNewby ! One of the best DIY projects yet! My venue is a historical bldg and all candles must be electric, and no decor on any walls, floors. These would rock it!
I absolutely LOVE these. I have to go look at my daughter's venue to see where and how many of these we will need. But, we are definitely going to have to buy some or buy a cricut and make them. How tall are they? Please and thank you!
Well I'm a major budget bride, so what I would pay & what others would be willing to pay could be much different.
These would require some assembly on the part of the buyer, so that would take away from your asking price. Plus they are essentially just paper. I think what gives you the advantage to sell is that you own the cricut expression.
I would say a decent asking price for these would be $9 WITH the crystal accents.
OR $6 without the crystal accents.
I could be off, but I wouldn't pay more than that for these, considering that they are made out of simple cardstock (or something similar) & could be recreated by a DIY bride.
After 2 other failed attempts at DIYing my own chandelier, I discovered the version at http://littlepurplepansie.blogspot.com.
Her's was for Halloween, so I changed a few things, eliminated the beads, and added our monogram and some bling.
I cut out the pieces using my cricut and the sure cuts a lot software.
total cost for 12 chandeliers: $11.50!
What do you think?

posted by SweetSara 10 months agoThese are AMAZING! I totally think if you priced these reasonably you could sell the CRAP out of these on weddingbee classified!
I would definitely buy quite a few when my day rolls around! :]
