I have been DIY-ing it up in preperation for the coming event only 9 months 28 days away! Anyway I know I'm ahead of myself but I made the bridesmaid's necklaces and my necklace and bracelet set for me. I have alot left so I may make some bracelets for the greeters and my personal attentand. I'm a bargain finder so The glass pearls, crystals and whatnots all cost me around 15-17 dollars. Pretty great bargain! I wait for good deals and we have a great place in my town called Crafts Direct. Its as big as Walmart and is filled with awesom crafts.
It was super easy to make these once I knew the pattern I wanted. I used jewelry wire in gold since my colors are purple and gold. Then I used a lobster claw clasp and jump rings for the other end in case they are too small. Also I want to get a gold heart engraved with their names on them and put them on the end of the rings.
On with the pics. The Plain Janes are the bridesmaids. I only photographed one since they all look alike. Mine is the one with the small purple stones. I made a bracelet to match as well. Without the larger beads though.
those are so cute! Great job! I've been searching for a pearl necklace but I can't find anything that's close to what i want. Maybe I should just try making it! And yours are a good template to go off of :-) I especially like the color stones for your wedding colors. Great idea!
