Long ago, I saw a post by fellow bee, Miss Plumeria, on her great wedding programs. This is totally inspired by her work!
They're the size of a letter size piece of paper folded in half... twice. Remember my invitation's sash and envelope liner? well i also got a spread printed of two of our engagement photos.
They make for great surprises for the guests, dont you think?
It was several pages long, with a few dedications, 2 pages for the bridal party, 4 for the ceremony, an acknowlegements page, a thank you, and a quick list of the reception's program as well.
Bound with gold thread, just like Miss Plumeria's was!
I cant exactly give a template, because i did this from scratch. Also, giving away my design as a graphic designer who specializes in weddings (www.tohaveandto-fold.com) is kinda like giving away the secret recipes of a popular restaurant, lol. However i've attached a pdf on how make a program like this without giving the whole thing away for free.
Fellow bee and graphic designer, Mrs. Plumeria, also goes through this step by step.
Programs: Adobe InDesign (layout and page design), Adobe Illustrator (Graphics), Adobe Photoshop (Photo color correction)
thank you! they loved it. infact i've gotten a few job inquiries on family friends' future weddings in the last week! Its great to know my work was appreciated!
you can use a saddle stapler and skip the actual needle and thread sewing. i just did that for looks!

These are amazing and super classy! I bet your guests will love (loved?) them!
I would love to do something like this, but, admittiedly, the binding gives me a little bit of cold feet. Did you do the saddle stitching by hand?
