As I'm sure you all understand all too well, the closer the wedding gets, the tighter my budget becomes! That's why I am sooo happy with this DIY project! I wanted a beautiful guest book and pen set, but was not willing to pay the $75+ that some sellers were charging on Etsy. So, I decided to beautify a book myself!
I purchased a dark purple Lillian Rose guest book set from Michaels. I intended on using a coupon for 40% off, but since the decorative rope was loose on the bottom of the pen holder, they gave it to me for 40% off and allowed me to use my coupon on something else! I bought a yard of 5/8 inch purplewine fabric from Michaels and a yard of bling "rope" from JoAnn fabrics. I simply wrapped the ribbons around the book and, VOILA!

@CountryGirl80: I just used hot glue to adhere the ribbon and the bling.
