Here is a beautiful vintage lace cap I made from some gorgeous lace fabric I bought at Michaels for $25. I then made some fabric flowers from the same fabric, and then I added some flower appliques by cutting up a vintage wedding dress I bought for an engagement session photo shoot.
I wore this hat to another engagement photo shoot (I'm doing a series of different time-period photo shoots for the engagement pics because our theme is love through time).
I love how this cap came out. Similar head pieces sell online for $200+. I LOVE DIY PROJECTS!
I'll try and post some instructions on how to make this cap when I find time on my website at www.eehkay.com
Here some professional pictures of my vintage lace cap:
These pictures were taken by our wonderful photographer, Jhovany Quiroz (www.quirozphotography.com). I've sort of been overkill with these pictures, but i just can't help it...I absolutey love them! Didn't he do such a great job with the angles, the lighting, the editing...?
Beautiful photos and love your bridal cap. Are you still planning to post instructions? I'm planning on making one for my sister but need help. Thanks.
